Looking to do an upgrade and would like to put a 3.5" speaker in that little place to go along with the 6.75" component set.

Has anyone installed a 3.5" speaker in that little spot?

What component set are you looking at that has a tweeter that large.

Yeah, 3-way...plan on using Alpine 6.75" component with tweeter installed in the sail panel and would like to use the "3in" location for a 3.5" speaker.

 

I would pull the door panel and measure.

Get the dimension of the entire tweeter, not just the driver.

Did you already buy the speakers or is this still in the planning phase?

 

Still just planning, I was hoping someone had done this already? I am at the sound deadening stage, just gutted the back seat and trunk interior and have been putting down Damplifier Pro down from Second Skin. Was wanting to get everything ordered this weekend.
