Hey guys so i figured out my OEM cord is broken so i was about to get another OEM but realized it costs $38 for OEM so i was like screw that i rather get after market one for that price. But does this one connect straight into the place where the OEM one connects to or do i still have to connect the OEM to this one to my ipod?

If you have an 08/09, you will need the OEM cable to plug into the center console plug. You might check ebay for a less expensive one. Most of the Nissan/ Infiniti cables from that year would work.
I just use the Left/Right Aux that has a 3.5mm end piece and connect it to my Android phone. Works well but the downside is that there are no steering wheel controls :/
Sorry to bring up this post again but I really wonder how the sound through the iPod cable would come out if compared to standard AUX port? Is it better than the AUX? 'Cuz I'm about to order one but not sure if it's worth the penny.

I use ipod and aux. Sounds the same. The volume adjustment will be different though. I usually have to put my speakers more than 50% (with aux) for the music to be at the same level as the ipod at around 25%.
I have the volume set to full on both my phone and ipod so I don't know why that is, but it sounds the same to me.
