Samsung Galaxy S3 bluetooth does NOT auto connect to My G
My Droid X used to automatically connect to my G when I start the car. I just upgraded my phone to the Samsung Galaxy S3. Now my phone does not automatically connect to my G like my Droid X used to do.
In order to connect to my car, I have to toggle off bluetooth on my phone, then toggle it back on again, then go to bluetooth setting and manually connect. Once I shut off the car, I have to repeat this process again.
This is very annoying!

Does anyone know how to get it automatically reconnect?

is there anything different between the settings on the bluetooth for the S3 compared to the droid X? only thing i can think of is there might be a power-save mode or something in the S3's settings menu about reconnect to paired device or a setting that shuts off the bluetooth radio depending on battery saver settings. just my 2 cents

Verizon must have messed with the bluetooth settings. I can only change device name, change visible time-out, and show received files in bluetooth settings. Plus the bluetooth on and off toggle, that's it.
go on your phone's bluetooth settings and delete the G. Then pair the G again with the phone. If this doesnt solve your problem then do a hard reset to factory settings by opening a dial pad and Enter *2767*3855#. If it wont reset that way then do it this way:
1)Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S3 using the power button.
2)Now press and hold Volume Up+ Home + Power button simultaneously.
3)select wipe data/ factory reset option

I'm having issues with my S3 pairing with my 2012 G37. I just bought the verizon version but thinking about switching to at&t. Do you do anything special for the at&t S3 or does it pair flawlessly?

For those of you who are still having problems auto re-connecting, do the above steps and also make sure you check off "Do not ask agian" and click allow button when your phone asks if it can download contacts to your car.
