I've only had mine less than a week but for my 12hour drive i swore it was the way you first stated and the next day i swore it was the opposite then switched back.... with Ipod only. Could have been the car/Ipod/my mind playing tricks on me. Let you know if it happens again. Its probably me being crazy.

That is the thing that drives me crazy - you can only use the steering wheel to navigate through your presets versus channel by channel. I guess they thought that 18 XM stations was enough? You can cheat by making each preset 5 channels away from one another, so as long as you know in general where you are trying to go, it's easy to get there. Definitely can't use the **** to go 100 channels away from where you are.

Definitely the worst XM radio I have owned. You can't even select categories!
18? Am I missing something? I can only program 6 presets for xm!
