I have a 2010 g37s coupe, and for some reason my iPhone 4s won't show the caller ID whenever I have an incoming phone call over bluetooth. It just show the numbers. I used to have iPhone 3g and it shows the caller ID. Anyone has this same problem?

 

Mine works fine, and mine even show the album name, singer, and track name when i use my bluetooth to listen the music. (not shown anything when i used my 3gs)

 

that's weird!! I have no idea how to fix this problem

 

you can try to reconnect your phone with your car

 

I have an 08 with Nav and it only shows the number on the nav screen, not the name.

And you both are using the iPhone 4s?? Also, what really does the "vehicle ringtone" do? Either I turn it on or off, it still ring one way. It doesn't use my ringtone

Happens sometimes. Some numbers show up. I'll try re adding my phone we'll see if that works...

 

I re add my phone already and it still doesn't work. I connect a iphone 3g and it shows the names. Maybe just the iphone 4s that doesn't work? Let me know of you can figure this out..

 

damn.. my 08 G has never ever done this (show caller id, only numbers) ive owned the 3GS, 4 and now a 4S. WTH? maybe cuz i have the non nav G?

 

i have a 08 g37s coupe and it just shows the phone numbers on the screen whether i call or get called...also i cant even download my contacts from my phone, so its like i gotta go through my phone to see who i wanna call,annoying, anyone know why i cant download my contacts list ?

 

I've tried and tried, and the G simply refuses to download my phonebook from my 4S. Wouldn't do it with the old 3GS, either.

It stinks to have to manually re-enter your contacts for what seems like a simple task. Makes it feel like it's still 1997 around here.

Hell, the car can make and receive calls over Bluetooth, but can't download a simple table consisting of alphanumeric text? And they called it a "Technology Package". Ha.

 

Theres a service campaign for 2010s, it fixed call waiting, and caller ID, including phone book issues I had.

haha yea i know right, its just annoying because bluetooth is such a simple idea, i can keep my phone in my pocket not having to worry about anything but then the annoying part comes in when i gotta make a call, now i have to pull my phone out of my pocket.....SMH to Infiniti

 

Mine does....I would thank god if it didn't. Not cool when you have a girlfriend and another chick call you lol....not cool
