Do you think this would allow streaming audio?

IOGEAR GBU521 USB Bluetooth 4.0 Micro Adapter - Newegg.com

I have a 2011 non-nav and the only input is a usb port. I have the phone paired for phone calls but I can't seem to find a way to stream audio from my phone which is really annoying lol

In my experience those work mostly with PC's due to requiring a driver or a built in driver with windows/mac. I haven't tried it in a car's USB port though...

Hi everyone I only create an account in this page to let you know that I have my car Bluetooth working for music.
I have a Infiniti G37 2010 (no gps, no bose)
I only buy the Bovee WMA2000 and I just plug it and it worked out of the box without any other inventions attached and I only have half a second delay in audio.
this is the link where I buy it.. Enjoy

I think this is the right thread for the solution I read about and have now tried. The Boovee 1000 attached to the cable jive adaptor which then directly connects to the factory iPod cable. The sound is identical to an iPod connected directly. I use Pandora on my iPhone and the steering wheel buttons control volume and tracks. The song data shows on screen and Google maps jumps in lowering volume of the music rather than cutting it to speak of the car phone speaker. I set it up once and as soon as Pandora start the signal is picked up or it picks up where you left off when you last cut the car off. You can also receive calls over the factory Bluetooth calling feature if you decide to connect via your phone for music. It should work with any Bluetooth audio device but I can not verify if androids will have the same success.

Sorry to bump an old thread. But I just wanted to add updated links for anyone still looking for the Bovee iPod simulator for Bluetooth pairing.

Yeah, just to throw in a comment, the product planners missed the boat when it came to tech connectivity. I think 2011 was the first year for USB, my '09 is Iphone plug only (for that time), and red/white RCA cord to connect my MP3 player. I copied music over to the CF card for the slot and it plays better than the MP3. Had to manually put in a phone book to access via the car's system and that limits me to 40 contacts. I have what I need, I make it work.

You're going to need this:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the 30-pin adapter that comes with the G does not provide enough power to the Bovee. With this (plus a cigarette lighter adapter and micro usb) everything will work as it should.

I have the Bovee and the cablejive. Hooked it up to the lighter and still no sounds. I’m stumped. Almost ready to send this Bovee back. It’s definitely not cheap. Any thought would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
