I wish it moved back when you turn off the car and forward when you start the car. I loved that feature on my 08 G35x sedan!

I had the setting on my 08 G35x in the "settings" menu on the center panel. This is a coupe...maybe it's different? I didn't see an option to make it work. If there is one and I am missing it, I would REALLY appreciate some input!

Coupe doesn't do it.
You'll have to push the button yourself. What a pity!

Doesn't do it on coupes, does on sedans. We'll never know why

If your the only driver for your car. Try setting the programable seats "2" to the exit position. I did this and having the wheel out of the way with the seats back saves quite a bit on the bolster wear.

It's because the coupe doesn't have enough leg room for the rear passengers when the front seat is moved back as far as it can go.
Now you know why, some of us already knew why.
I don't know why we couldn't at least have the steering wheel move though.

Just a feature that'll cause the electric motors to wear out faster.

It doesn't do it on my 2012 G37S MT Sedan either...
It does on the 2011 G37 7A Sedan. I figure they did it because on the manual you have to reach for the clutch before car starts.
