Dropping Blue Tooth

Dropping Blue Tooth
I have the Samsung Charge for my cell phone, through Verizon. It won't stay linked to blue tooth in my '08 G37S. Is anyone else having this problem? Apparently, it has something to do with "currently running services" under "applications" on the phone but I can't tell what to turn off and what to turn on. Hard re-set (removing and re-installing the battery) seems to work but is inconvenient.
Not a vehicle problem; the issue is with the Droid. Curious if anyone else is running into this problem with the same phone or with other.

Instead of rebooting/pulling the battery in your phone, have you tried disabling (off) and then re-enabling (on) the bluetooth?

I have the same problem with my 2011 Journey Coupe and iPhone 8 plus. I believe it has something to do with the fact that there are different bluetooth versions and our cars run an older version that is not fully compatible. Just my thoughts on why it happens. Not sure if there is a fix other than getting a separate bluetooth controller. I ordered a nice strong USB cable to hook up and get a better sound quality that way (compared to bluetooth before it starts cutting out).

Turn off Battery app refresh
in settings for the music app you’re using. iPhones. Turn everything off. Turn your phone off. Let your car search first then bluetooth your phone. Its probably the iphone upgrade.
