I have the Bose system in my 11 G37xs and just discovered that when it gets above 70 outside and the volume gets turned up to about 3/4, I get a static popping noise that happens on all the songs. It doesn/t matter if I am using the DVD, satellite or the Ipod interface. The dealer says the stereo is warrantied but it is coming from all the front speakers. So is it the speakers or the head unit? If it is the head unit is there an upgrade I can do while they replace the head unit?

I have discovered that the random "popping" type static noise ONLY happens with the ITOUCH playing. If I play the DVD or the XM, I do not get the static.
