dvd player in g37x

dvd player in g37x

my friend said there is a way to put a switch so u can play the dvd player while the car is in mottion...he did this to his vhicle which has an aftermarket dvd / cd player.... has anyone done this mod to their car yet

In before the lock too

But I googled the subject and you have to do the switch because when the feature is disabled, sure it will let you play movies on the screen but then the gps won't update your location because it believes you're stopped and not moving. Pros and cons of the mod I guess.

its easy to do... just google it. frankly I dont get the legal slant to this. I mean the guy willing to rip apart his dash... ground the parking brake and put a switch in the speed sensor had to know what he is doing and the forum cant be to blame.

i did find directions on google but they dont mention anything about putting a switch.... i heard if u just cut the 2 wires then ur navigation will thikn ur stationary and location wont update....

check on g37driver.com or 6mt.net they allow discussion of this and will have all the info you need. i believe there's even a guy that has done this on many maxima's who is from new jersey. He will help.
