There are auxiliary inputs in your center console with a red, white, and yellow inputs. You can either plug in a DVD player into it using RCA cables or an iPod and play them by pressing the AUX button on your dash. That will display the movie on the screen, only while stopped with the e-brake on. You will not be able to watch the movie and drive unless you do a mod (which you can't talk about on the forum). You can't play a DVD trough the CD player itself. Hope that helps.
He didn't say while driving. Just have the emergency brake on while in park and you can watch a DVD. Non-nav I'm not sure.
Question, I have an 08 infiniti g37s coupe with the red, white, and yellow dvd video dynex cord and I plug it in to my andriod note 3 phone with the emergency brake on and it still won't show the video on the screen. Why is that?
I dont have the aux ports but I do have a nav setup...I should be able to play dvds then? But someone said not through the cd player...so where is the dvd drive? Oh...2010 S model btw
I have a 2008 g37 coupe and non nav, all I do is connect the aux cable to my phone and have the car on park and click on aux on the car screen and it plays.

What about possibly uploading a video to the Hard Drive (on nav models) or even plugging in a thumb drive with a MP4 file and inserting into the USB slot??
It will play some files but not all. I tried AVI. files via a thumb drive through the USB and it wouldn't recognize them. The car does need to be in park and the E-brake must be on.
I used a portable DVD player in my G, plugged it right in to the AV inputs, clicked the AUX button on the dash and BAM it works... (I have no SATNAV) I now have one mounted in the glove box. I all so grounded out the wire in the dash so I can watch moves while driving.
