bluetooth call quality

Does anyone else think the bluetooth call quality (for the person on the other end of the call) is absolute garbage? Anytime I make a call, the person on the other end tells me they cant hear me. I had a Acura TL before this, and the call quality was good. not great but it was at least usable. Also, I don't get any of my text or email notifications from the phone when the phone is paired. Aside from that, I LOVE the car.

I have a HTC Incredible and my wife has a blackberry (no idea which one, it is supplied by her work) and they both work so well on the bluetooth and I find myself calling on it all the time. I used to use my phone about 30 minutes/month and now I am using it at least 100 minutes/month!! As you can see, i don't like using the phone and the bluetooth is really making me like it! I have not yet heard anyone complain about the call quality on the other end and when my wife uses the car and calls me on it, it is nice and clear.

I have an iPhone 3G (not S), works fine with it...

I do get dropped calls once in a while but I think thats my service providers fault.

Trash with my iPhone 4 aswell.. my 3gs was better... I think it's the iPhone[y]4 though to be honest. Everything else went wrong for us, why not this Maybe Apple will develop a "case" for us that makes the bluetooth work.

I had a 2007 G35 sedan and my iPhone 3GS on 4.0.1 sounded great on it (I actually received compliments on how good a bluetooth speakerphone could sound).

On my new 2010 G37 sedan my iPhone 3GS (still 4.0.1) sounds terrible (muffled and low volume) according to people on the other end. I tried my wife's Motorola flip phone and I am told it sounds MUCH better when I call people on the bluetooth. Must be something wrong with the iPhone Bluetooth which is disappointing. I just got the car today and was told it already had the TSB installed.

Besides that I am VERY happy with my new 2010 G37S sedan!

I thought this BT was much better then my '06 TL. Much more integrated and sound quality is wonderful. No complaint and I have a blackberry tour 9630.

It's probably the problem from the iPhone. The mic from the car's BT handsfree actually picks up sounds quite well. I have tried to record a call and my voice didn't sound like I was speaking from a distance.

I had an aftermarket JVC bluetooth head unit in my old civic.....and all I have to say is that the bluetooth quality in the G is stellar (in comparison)
