im trying to get to a 12+ ignition source. im trying to avoid having to run the wires to the cabin to get access. can i splice or run my wire of a fuse or some source that is easy accessible in the engine compartment?

 

what exactly are you trying to do, there might be space in the fuse box to add a fuse

 

im doing the headlights. and i want to tap into an ignition source for a module that i am building that will only allow the ironman lights and demon eye to be turn on only if the car is off.

Theres gotta be a fuse in the fusebox next to the battery thats only on when the car is on.

but im planning to wire the demon eyes and iron man lights to a timer/relay so that it only let the lights come on when the car is off.
