I'm a big fan of XM - its probably the most common way I hear new music and variety that I wouldn't buy on a whim. Stuff I really like winds up on my ipod eventually. The ability to drive across the state without losing stations every 30 miles is a big plus.

I'm a late 40's scientist/manager at big research lab - my stations would be
my music -
Alt Nation - where I tend to hear new stuff
First Wave - 80's new wave / punk-lite music - hey I'm young again!
The various classic vinyl and rock stations
RockRandom (187?) - that plays a lot of Rush and older album rock.
HairNation / Octane / Boneyard

I'll have a second set of presets set to news stations
CNBC - business news with idiots
Bloomberg - business news without *as many* idiots
BBC - best news station out there
NPR v1
NPR v2

and a third set of presets for my wife -
Spa -
Watercolor - very light jazz
Pop2k
20on20
Love - when she's in the car without me thank god.

XM fidelity could be better but I really enjoy the variety and national reach of satellite radio.

Enjoy the FREEBIES!!!
I bought my G37 in March and my 3-month trial is supposed to end on 6/9/10. Does this mean that my freebie will be extended to 7/25 without renewal?

Don't think they're that generous.
