Just wrecked my 10w6v2.. now what?

Hey so I've had my system for about a month ish and my JL 10w6v2 is about to fully die on me. I just noticed it sounding all distorted at high volumes so i took a look and the surround is cracking all over.. I'm running it off a Audison Lrx 5.1, which is putting out 1150 watts (maybe a biit overkill for the sub) at 2ohm but i'm also using a Bit One processor, so totally clean, unclipped signal..

Anyways, my questions for you audiophiles are:

1. Will JL be able to tell how much power i put on the sub, as im going to try and return the sub (through authorized dealer)?

2. What sub should i get next? requirements:
- Needs to be a good combo of SQ and SPL if possible
- Needs to fit in a 4080 box (coupe), 10"
- Needs to be able to handle my amp

What do you guys think/recommend?

FI Q or DC Level 3, they handle almost 2x rated and are gorgeous subs. I personally hate JL subs, they are over priced garbage.

W7 definitely won't fit in my enclosure tho..

I really like the Fi Q10.. Do you know if it will fit tho?

My mounting diameter is 9.25" and mounting depth is 7.5"

BTW, the Fi Q is more of a SQ sub with bass, and the DC is more of an SPL sub.
To order the DC sub, go to dcsoundlab.com and contact rusty.

Both of these subs can handle well over rated power easily, it takes almost 4x rated to blow em.
