Infiniti Remote Start?

Does Infiniti sell & install a factory remote start for the g37? I'd like one but would not like Aftermarket.

Thanks,

Shane

Nissan sells this in Japan, it's a dealer installed remote starter. It lists the price at 61,000 Yen ($700 USD). I wonder if the North American cars have the wiring infrastructre in place and if you could just order the module and have it installed.

If anyone can read Japanese I'd love to know more about this.

The ones that dealers install are all aftermarket, but they set it up so it uses your Infiniti remote to operate.

Ive got the Viper remote start and they said they could set it up through my OEM remote but I told the guy I wanted the viper reomte. Its really small and I wanted 2 way starter that way I would know if it started if I couldnt see the car. The entry level one is only 1 way so I payed and extra $100 for the 2 way. It cost me $500 total for the starter. Heres a pic of the remote I have. Ive got it right on the ring with the oem key fob.

I have a Autopage Remote Start and Security system installed and it works great!

C3 RS-915LCD - 2-Way Communications - AutoPage

I got it installed for $500. I have the stock alarm and on top of that have the autopage alarm that can be set to stage 1 or stage 2. Stage 1 where it goes off with a warning signal and stage 2 if someone hits it hard or breaks in. When on autostart its nice when i get in i just press on the brake and the steering wheel and seat adjust, just put it in drive and GO! Even has options that you can add for cooling your turbos if your car is equipped with them lol, set it to turn on at a specific time everyday etc.

On the Autopage, its an option for the alarm, you can get only the Remote Start

Why didnt you want it, is your Viper one 2 way where it tells you if the car started?

If I can go without that, you think some places can install a Viper Remote Start programmed to my Infiniti key fob & push start in the car will work?

If so, Perfect! What model should I get for just Remote Start, I don't want an Alarm. :-)

Thanks guys,

Shane
