rear speaker in convertible?

I have a new black/stone G37 convertible with the premium and nav packages and I love it. I've been trying to figure out if there is a rear speaker (possibly a subwoofer) besides the two speakers on the backs of the front seats. The manual (3-32, emergency trunk unlock procedure) shows a speaker in the center behind the rear seats but I found a great deal of resistance when I tried to lift out the rear seat cushion and decided not to proceed with my exploration. Has anyone here confirmed whether there is a speaker there or not?

Also, I sometimes get vibrations (in the doors, I think) with the audio cranked up during passages with heavy bass and I'm considering the possibility of having Dynamat installed. Has anyone here tried that?

I just discovered this morning that my dealer has pdf versions of the owner's manual and nav manual available online. Here are the links:

duh

I played a tune on the iPod with some good base in it and stuck my head near the center of the rear seat cushion. It sure sounds like there's a subwoofer under there.

i was looking through the owners manual and stumbled upond the part where if u cant open the trunk, theres a procedure of removing the rear seat, and part of the steps, it had you remove a rear speaker right after you take off the seat to access the trunk release inside. so i am pretty sure there is 2 there, one on each side of the seatback. which would actually counts for the "13" speakers the bose system has since 11 is actually visible.

There is actually 2 6x9 speakers behind the rear seat. I remove the seat this morning to have a real look at what was there.
