need more bass, help needed

need more bass, help needed

whats up fellas,

im planning on adding more bass to the car, the bose isnt enough of thump for me lol, first of all i dont know a single thing or so about car audio. what do you guys think would be the best box and amp for my car? i want it to sound clean and not rattly at all. what do you guys recomend? and should i get my trunk dynamatted?

I have the 4080 sub box with a JL Audio 10W6 sub. I am running 4 gauge power wire to my JL Audio 500/1 amp routed though a 1.2 Farad Capacitor.

The added the cap fixed issues with flickering head lights when the bass would hit hard. It also helps ease the strain on the car's electrical system and maintains power for good clean bass.

I have the bass adjustment **** located between my heated seat buttons.

This setup is loud and very clean. I did not need to dynamat my trunk, but I did add some to the back of my license plate. I don't have crazy trunk rattling issues.
