Thanks alot man, i have a box design in my mind that i started doing the numbers for and i think it should work, basically the zen enclosures box that comes out a bit more allowing the angle to be used to fit the 12's in but i would love to see a working box. There is no reason for me to reinvent a working design.

Beautiful, I like the design of having the box and basically a vanity plate to make a nice clean install. My basic box design was the same but I realy like how you had yours installed. Thanks for getting the pics up.

MTX has some really clean woofers that don't take up alot of room. The are the slim and they have very crisp bass. look into those that's what I have.

As long as you have the air space I don't see any problems with getting the sub in there. All depends where you want to place and which way you want the sub to face. One of the way to get the most air space is to take out the spare tire and either build a box in the spare tire well or fiberglass the spare tire well into an enclosure and fire the sub upward.

This way you can retain quite a bit of trunk space. Only thing I don't like with firing upwards, although a sub output is non directional, you can notice a slight difference in output, so firing towards the cabin (and sealing it) or facing the rear of the vehicle would be the better route to go.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's loud...not to say it isn't. I used to have an 18" sub in my accord with 3k goin to it and I wouldn't set off some alarms, however I was pullin off sound pressure levels of 140 dB...and around 145 when I had my 15" off about 5k watts. It all depends on the vehicle, the tuning of the system, the frequency being played and a few other factors. My car was not that loud from the outside, but from the inside it was intense, I guess it was because I added a pisston of sound deadening.
