there is a 9.3GB music box too...

but yeah 512 mp3 limit for the CF card.. which is about 3GB.

it's gone to support a USB slot that can be used for your ipod as well as the flash drive.

you know if the digital media is the way they're going. I wonder if they'd ever contract creative x-fi because seriously, x-fi makes mp3s sound good. I even hooked up my x-fi to run through the aux and they sounded incredible.

the best option is to invest in an ipod. 160gb to your hearts content.

File requirements are listed in the owners manual.

I was excited about this feature at first but was very disappointed when I found out the stupid limit. So, Ipod is really the way to go

I'm not sure what the big deal is, if you have 512 songs on the CF, 512 on your Music box, and 500 songs or so on your IPOD, that's 1524 songs you have IN your vehicle, and I didn't include the CDROM, that is overkill in my opinion, and yes right now I'm using all 3 using RDM mode I have no complains, but I sometimes switch to XM if I want to listen tunes I normally wouldn't have in any of the drives.

LOL yeah, I figured if I got the largest available card I could just store most of my favorite music on it and just leave it in the car all the time. Will pick up a couple of 4GBs instead, they are very cheap. But also thinking of getting an iPod. I never owned one, so what's a good model to buy to ensure that it will connect AND charge?

My understanding is that current iPods will not charge using the cord provided. I have a nano and a Touch, would love it if they would charge while playing...

Not exactly a big deal, or at least it's not for me. I keep a couple of different 2GB CF cards in my ashtray, and each one has different types of music on them. Some are mine, some are my wife's. I also have a lot stored on the MB so I really have no shortage of music to listen to. What the heck did you guys do 5 years ago before most of this stuff wasn't even around?
