What good is downloaded phonebook?

So I understand the rationale for not being able to watch movies while you're driving. I KIND OF understand the rationale for not being able to input an address on the GPS while you're driving (though, I think this is stupid...). Once you've downloaded your phonebook from you cellphone to the car, why in the hell can't you access these people while you're driving?! Instead, I have to take my eyes off the road and find them on my cellphone. I mean what the hell is the point of being able to download a phonebook and only being able to dial these numbers when you are at a complete stop?!

You should be able to access the phonebook with the voice recognition system, i.e. say PHONE then PHONEBOOK. Yeah, it's a pain that they disable some features while the car is moving but the voice system is supposed to allow you to still access them in a "safer" way. I'm still getting used to the voice system.

Atleast it allows you to download the phonebook. Everytime i try it disconnects the bluetooth and reconnects like nothing happened.

I agree with everything you all have said about this. Infiniti should make it as an option.

Watching videos while driving is stupid. Not be able to access GPS/Phone with full functionality: that's extremely stupid.

KP Module is a solution though.
