As far as I'm concerned there is no way to put Navigation into a non-navigation car. There's just too many parts in conjunction that need to be replaced as well.

+1 ... agreed, it's much much more than JUST the screen and keyboard you see in that pic... it's many differently wired and and additional wire looms/harnesses and components.

Best way to get factory nav is to trade the vehicle in for one with factory nav

Get a Garmin Nuvi, latest gen have voice recognition, blue tooth ect.. and a lot cheaper to update. Our nav is not worth the pain of adding after the fact.

oh and there's a component of "false" advertising on that ebay auction in the link .. there is no mention of any parts other than what's shown in the picture, but it's billed as "a complete navigation system" ..

only thing that's good for is someone who ruined their screen or button/keyboard and is outta warranty -- i'm sure it's HUNDREDS cheaper to buy that ebay item than to buy it online from an infiniti parts vendor ..

from www.infinitipartsusa.com ...

display W/navigation
2008 $757.19

bracket $45.00

switch assembly is $301.00

So... yeah... not a bad price if it works...

oh yes, I risked it and bought that navigation from 07 g35s and put it into 08 G37 journey sport and everything work like a charm. I consider that a bold move , and saved a lot of money, got it for $600 shipped , and checked the dealer ...LOLOLOLOLOLO the complete navigation system came out to $6700 and thats with a 30% employee discount. i am very happy with what i got and now chillin.

Wow, that's amazing if you were able to do it. According to everyone else who has tried, it's virtually impossible. Please give us more details about it (there are lots of others who wished they had got the NAV in hindsight).

You must have found a very oddly loaded car. Your sig says that your car has the TECH package. Last time I checked, the car must have the NAV package before it can have TECH.
