I am new to the G37. I did a search but didnt find anything on it. My G35 had a little reading showing the outside temperature. I cannot find this on my G37 anywhere. Am I completely missing it or did Infiniti get rid of it?
I live 4-5 minutes from work too. But I put about 500 miles a week on my G, mostly for pleasure. I have it since Mar-6-2009 and the speedometer is now read something like 39xx
Had my car for almost a month now. I dont actually drive much. I live literally 4-5 minutes from work. I only put about 50 miles a week on my car.
Regardless, it would be a good idea to break out the owner’s manual and read a few pages each day. There are other serendipitous features that you may not yet be aware of. In my case, I found that if I kept selecting the Status button under the nav screen it would cycle through climate settings, fuel economy and blank readouts on the lower half.
Screw the owners manual. I like finding stuff out on my own. Maybe a year from now I will find a new cool feature I didnt know what there, it will be like my birthday.

If you like finding stuff on your own they why are you asking us?
BTW, you can program in your birthday and the nav screen will display a cake and sing happy birthday to you. Here's a preview (jk):
