BlackBerry Phonebook Transfer Name Flip!

Maybe some fellow BlackBerry users can shed some light on this anomaly...
I can transfer my phonebook to my G just fine, but what bugs me is that entries with last names appear backwards on the downloaded phonebook. For example, if I transfer John Doe it will appear as Doe John. It drives me nuts when I search for someone and can't find them! I've played with the settings on both my BB & G to no success.
Any BB users know something I don't? Or do I just live with it and maybe remove the last names before re-downloading? The latter would seem not too convinient...

I figured that much. It just irks me that the engineers couldn't get a little thing like this right, and to me, at least, getting the names how you want them to appear on your phonebook goes a long way!

Are you pressing "transfer" on the phone or the car?

Make new entries on your Blackberry just for purpose of tranferring to the G by using the Company field only and not first and last name. Put all of these new entries into a new Category called 'Car Sync' or something like that.

Then go to Bluetooth options and where it has Address Book Transfer change to selected categories only and pick "Car Sync".

My blackberry phone itself switches the names to read Doe John instead of John Doe no matter how I save them. I got my phonebook transferred but I can only use it when the car is stopped.
