Cool New Kenwood installed....

Hello. We are new to the community and would like to post some pictures of a recent project we've completed... here are some pictures of a new touch-screen radio we've installed in a G37.

How do you load the Player? The motorized face looks hindered by the dash. What became of the old factory controls, are they still functioning or dumby ***** now? Was that able to tap into the OEM disc changer?

Just a guess would be the face can't move, the volume may work(but that'd be it), and it needs an aftermarket changer. But I could be wrong.

The player is a DVD unit located inside of the glove bock and there is no motorized face. The screen is an aftermarket touch screen unit. The old factory controls are still functional, we can display the temp / ac controls / . . .etc. The old factory controls all work perfectly including steering wheel controls.

Nice job. Looks great. Sounds like an option for those wanting Nav without Nav package.
