Double Screen with Videos

I finally tried watching a video on the navigation but to my dismay I see a split screen of the video, wtf? Anybody else run into this problem? If anyone has a fix please enlighten me. Thanks all!

go to your video settings on your ipod. make sure "TV out" is on, "TV signal" is NTSC, and "widescreen" is on.

G37 Video sources

Are the component cables the ONLY way to play video on the navi screen? I've heard the CF cannot tell the difference between a music file and a video file?
