Driver's Door Speaker Problems

Is anyone else having problems with their driver side door speakers? Occassionally when I have the sound about half way up, the left side cuts out every few seconds. Sometimes I can get in my car and have no problems, other times, I have to turn the radio off because it's quite annoying. I'm guessing something is loose from opening and closing the door, taking it to the dealer tomorrow for service so I'm going to have em check it out but I can almost guarantee "they won't find any problems."

Take it to the dealership. As long as the system is stock it will be covered under the warranty.

Even if they dont hear the problem, tell them to check it out anyway b/c it may be a lose wire or a short somewhere.

^^ Good to know, I'm getting a loaner and I'm not bringing it back until they figure something out to be wrong.

My 04 G coupe had that problem... for 3 years.

I brought it back to the dealership about 7 times for that. The first 4 times, the couldn't 'recreate' the problem. Then they replaced the HU. It was fine for a few months, and then the problem came back. Replaced HU again, and fine for a few months.

I'd strongly recommend you to demand that they fix it proper the first time around. It was very frustrating to go back 4 times to be told "there's nothing wrong with it".

If they can't recreate it, set your balance all the way to the left speakers, and take them for a drive. They'll still be some sound, but then take the balance all the way to the right and back to the left, and you should be able to hear a huge difference in sound quality and volume.

Took my car to the dealer they blamed any audio issues I have specifically on my aftermarket equitpment, a W6 and AMP. Clearly this can not be an issue since the amp is tapped into the rear speakers and would have absolutely no effect on the front speakers and could not possibly cause problems specifically to the left side. I wrote the service manager an e-mail and also filed ANOTHER complaint with Infiniti consumer affairs. I got a "we will take another look" response. Good grief, now I'm glad more than ever this is a lease, I can't deal with this garbage anymore, every dealer I go to continues to disappoint me and there just aren't enough dealers around here to keep going on like this.
