Using Compact Flash for Video

Hey Guys,

I was wondering is anyone has used a compact flash card to burn movies on to it and tried to play it on the G37 LCD. I am curious if something like that would even work. I was planning on buying a 16GB card and ripping a DVD on to it. Thoughts?

It won't work. The CF slot only reads audio files. MP3 files and probably a couple others. I only use mp3 so not sure what other files can be read. U can try it though but I am pretty sure it won't work.
