Do you really notice the driver focused sound setup?

What are you thoughts ?
I think i notice the subtle difference between having this option enabled/disabled. but it also seems like it sounds better when the sound is coming from all around, rather than being focused and coming from the front.

Slight difference. To me it just feels like I can hear more on the left side.

I definitely notice a difference. I always leave it on driver. I even asked some of my friends riding shotty to tell me which they prefered and they liked the driver setting too. I think the all around is for if you have peeps in the back which I never do.

Driver definitely sounds better. The only reason I can think I'd switch is if I had a full car with peeps in the rear as Kid mentioned.

driver has a lil more surround effect - kinda simulates the driver side speaker to be a few more feet to the left to even it wit the passenger one...

is anyone else dissapointed in there not being a mid-range frequency adjustment on the car? it's standard even on those $100 head units people buy in their civics!!! it comes in handy when listening to vocal music or sometimes when an mp3 files is a little outta whack from the source

Well obviously driver focused sounds better for the driver. I was actually toying with that yesterday and decided to keep it on Driver's sound stage.

What you guys should try is turning on driver's sound stage and sitting in the passenger seat. My guess is it sounds like crap. So if I had passengers in the car, I'd turn it off.

I completely agree. Infiniti added all the hype about this audio system, but bose got cheap and decided to connect the tweeter and the midrange on the doors together... yes people they are connected, hence no mid range control. sucks for all of us.!!!!!

Easily noticeable. I'm not sure if it is an improvement though. It does give somewhat of a stable center image for the driver, but sounds "over-processed" to me, which I don't like. Since my wife often travels with me, I leave it OFF.
