Hardwire Your Radar Detector with StealthCords

If you are wanting to hardwire your radar detector the best way to do is with a StealthCord (same as InvisiCord). It works by tapping into your powered rear view mirror.

I just picked one up from StealthCords.

For a 30% discount, use the following coupon code: nicoclubsponsor

Great deal... Not sure how long the code will work.

What size cord did you get? What detector are you running? I watched the demo install and it seems easy to do. Any problems with your install?

I haven't received mine yet. I'll be using it with Escort Passport 8500 x50. The 8 incher should be plenty if you are planning on mounting it near the mirror. Many people use this setup or similar (by InvisiCord)... This one is just a deal with getting the 30% off.

well if anyone needs an install and DOESNT have a powered rearview you can always get an add-a-circuit and go into your fuse box its very simple and total install costs about 10bucks? at a strauss add-afuse i think they call theirs aka if you need to hardwire your gps or radar w/e you dont want your lightersocket to be filled with that crap anymore

video on how to install
