Stock G37 Radio. Help!

Something funky is going on with my radio. So as expected I have all my presets tuned in. Preset A is XM Stations and Preset B is my FM stations... Preset C, I don't really use right now. My problem is that for some reason (and not always) I can only scroll through some of my presets). For example right now, if I go to Presets B I can scroll through B1 and B2 and it goes right back to B1, but if I press Scan and start scrolling through I can then see all of them, but after a few seconds, it goes back to only being able to see B1 and B2. Any ideas? I'm stumped. I may need to visit the dealer.

Edit: If it matters (I don't think it would though) I have the Nav as well so not just the base unit.

It only scrolls threw presets.. There's nothing 'wrong' just play with it and you will get used to it very quickly.

Right... I have all 6 of my Preset B's set and for some reason now (wasn't doing it before), when I use my steering wheel controls it only scrolls through B1 and B2. I can see the others in the list though.

I had a similar issue with mine, while scrolling through if i paused of a4 it would start over and skip back to a1. and if i left it on a4 after a sec. the 4 would go away. Finally i had to set a4 to a different station then back to the old station and it fixed the problem. Hasn't happened again since.

hope this helps

Thanks. I'll try that. If not, I'll be at the dealer in the morning!!!

It's small, but incredibly annoying!

Hey I really wouldn't waste your time going to the dealer. Worst case, unplug the battery and reset everything and try setting the presets once more. They're not going to be able to do a whole lot for you so its not worth the bother to take it to the dealer honestly.

I was thinking the same thing. Good thing WakeBoarder's suggestion worked. Hopefully the problem doesn't come back.

Thanks everyone!

I had the exact same problem yesterday. I thought I was going crazy for a second. My frozen preset was A3... for some reason, whenever it reached that preset, it would then go back to A1. If I left it on A3 for a few seconds, the highlighting on the screen went away...

I fixed it accidentally by using the same method described above (save another station as that preset and then go back and change it to the original preset). It worked, hasn't happened since... and hopefully it will stay like that.

I've had my car for 6 months now and it was the first time it had happened.
