you receive the message "iphone does not support this device" only because Infiniti didn't pay a licensing fee to have their interface registered with Apple.

the rest of that message is something to the effect of "do you want to go into airplane mode/turn off phone portion?"

just select "NO" and your music will be able to play, as well as your bluetooth with sync with the phone portion of the car.

truly amazing integration.

Thanks for your help guys. I hooked it up and everything works fine. Volume seems a little quieter than the razr though. Now I've got an extra ipod nano...

Oh yeah, and my iphone is jailbroken(run 3rd party apps), but I use att fine with the G37s

Interesting site.... I heard Apple was updating the software so that you could not unlock the iPhone anymore but I guess it's just a matter of time before some creative hacker figures out a way around it...
Gotta love technology!!!!

Such as any hack. It's easier to hack an app then to secure it from hackers

I heard a rumor that as people keep jailbreaking them when they link to itunes to download upgrades they can completely shut your phone down and you'll have nothing more then a paper weight in your hands.

Have you heard of this?

False. I've been jailbreaking my iPhone for many months now and there's not a single problem. 99% of all "problems" can be fixed with by hitting the Restore button in iTunes.

is there a way to restore it to original settings without apple knowing it has been jailbroken if one needed to return his or her phone do to what ever reason?

Also once jailbroken, is there any issues downloading apple / itunes upgrades?

No I haven't heard, but wouldn't a Restore bring it back to life if this did happen?
