How about a three way???

OK, now that I got your attention you can clean your dirty mind. I am talking about an aftermarket three way speaker system for the G37 to fit in the factory location. Has anyone upgraded from the factory speakers yet? I am considering the Dynaudio 360's or the DLS Iridium/Nobelium. I just wanted to get opinions on the quality of the sound on the G with a three way component system before I commit over 1k in speakers. Thanks in advance for the input.

I thought about doing Focal V3E 3-way. The mids are oversize to fit in the doors but the woofer had a perfect fit. I ended up getting a great deal for K2P, so i bought them and they sound amazing.

does it require bose adapters for this move to aftermarket?

I thought about just leaving the 11 bose speakers and adding a set of tweeters... I think that is all it will need....maybe

But I would love to know all the info about changing, specs, and processes of moving to a full aftermarket set up....

What head unit are you using? I will be using the factory (premuim) head unit via an audiocontrol DQL-8.

Did you chuck the spare to install your JL's? Do you have pictures of your installation?

Nope, the spare is still there. I can take some pictures of the install from my camera phone. I will post them later tonight.
