Laser Jammers/Blinders
Laser Jammers/Blinders
Has anybody mounted a laser jammer on this car? Where did you mount the heads?
I'm looking at the Laser Interceptor, Passport ZR4, Blinder M30/25/40/45 and Laser Pro Park.
The new ZR4 looks like it might have small enough heads to fit in the cracks between the blades of the grill.

Excellent as I my G is leased (for tax benefits) and I don't want to be buying parts to put it back to origninal.
The price for the Escort ZR3 jammer is down to $349 on their site because they are coming out with the ZR4, but for $600. Not sure if I can wait until guysoflidar test the ZR4.

I got popped a few months ago in my M35x on a Monday at 11AM on a 4 lane divided road along the beach, i.e., no houses, no incoming roads, no pedestrians (winter) with NO OTHER DRIVERS in sight doing 45 in a 30. He asked me how fast I was going and I told him because I didn't think that was the issue. I actually had no idea why I was pulled over. You could argue that I should have looked for the sign, but I didn't worry about it because I wasn't driving fast or unsafely.
Maybe law enforcement should stop using speedtraps as a revenue generation mechanism rather than being out protecting and serving where it is needed.
I'm not some drag racing kid and don't have a particularly heavy foot, but the laser jammer will pay for itself by preventing another ticket and the associated points on my insurance.
Thanks for the advice though, because I'm sure you have a G37 or are considering one to go the posted speed limit all the time.
