navigation not that good ??

I am a little disappointed in my g37's navi. the map is not that detailed regardless of what zoom i am in. detailed meaning street names are not labeled that well. this is comparing to my 03 4runner which has a stock toyota nav also but is much easier to read and the maps are well detailed.

anyone else notice this??

I am pleased with the navi features. Also, in comparison to other handhelds i've seen i find it much better. I also like that it's built into the vehicle.

Are you using birdview? Maybe you would prefer the overhead view?

The Zenrin-made Nissan/Infiniti nav is right up there near #1 on the market. Try playing with some of the settings, it is very flexible in presentation.

I have no issues with it and find it to be the best navi I have seen or used.

Actually, it's not near #1, it is #1.

The streets are labelled in detail. Could you be dealing with some sort of problem or maybe a coverage issue? Maybe take screenshot?

In my area they are labelled every bit as much as google maps...

That J.D. Power ranking list is damn accurate. I keep telling my wife how much better the G37's nav is compared to the nav in her Lexus RX350. I hate using that Lexus nav system, the display is confusing as hell, there's way too much info. on the screen and too many menu options. The G37 nav system I find is perfect in display info., graphics and much more user friendly.

I've gotten these, but it depends on the area. I work in San Jose and can see my work building pretty well. But I have to be zoomed in pretty well.
