Help Fellow Infinti Owners with Text Display

Here is a post on the sister M forum that I can't get an answer for:

Have problem with displaying burned CD's artist name and title. Using Media Player 11 on vista machine but have been ripping music under WMA (superior quality). Regarless of how tag information stored (WPL or M3U) info doesn't appear on M45 screen. Since manual says tag information ony uses ID3 tags (MP3) only do I have to re-rip music in MP3 format to get the info displayed???

2007 M45 Sport with Tech Package (Nav, Bose upgrade)
Thanks for any help.

Is there a way to contact infiniti for help on this? I imagine most PC users are creating libraries with WMA format, certainly a large number and would be very frustrating to have to record at a weaker sound quality.

will give that a look

Would require, it appears, a great deal of editing. Maybe after download will see simpler process for using software. Thanks for the quick response.

Still, would think many out there are using Media Player latest version and would find annoying no compatiblility with default values.

possible solution?

Perhaps I should be selecting data CD rather than music CD. I'll test tonight but I notice that the options Media Player 11 provides for music compression, tag info options, etc., falls under data CD and is not under audio disc tab
