NEW! Vendor Want To Buy subforum in Supporting Vendors forum

There is a new sub forum located in the Supporting Vendors forum that is designed to make getting vendor quotes for parts easier and better. It is called Vendor Want to Buy. It is a place where you can simply post what part you are looking to purchase from forum vendors and any vendor can respond to your request with their pricing and availability. Our forum vendors are on board with this idea. Hopefully you will find it useful when shopping for parts.

Simply create a thread clearly stating in the title what part you are requesting price quotes on. Fro example "WTB: KW v3 coilovers shipped to 77523". Vendors who want your business will then respond to you via PM with availability and pricing for the part. They will not post pricing in your thread. Hopefully it may streamline the process a bit so that you may not have to PM several different vendors looking for the best price and it may also introduce members to new vendors that they aren't familiar with.

If you have any questions post them or PM me.

BlackBetty,

This is the error I get when I try to start a thread:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

I guess that explains why no members have posted anything there yet. I'll get on it to get the permissions changed.

Sponsoring Vendors - I'd ask that you try to do a better job of watching this forum and responding to requests quickly. Members won't use it if you're not doing your part and getting them quotes quickly when they request them. I suggest subscribing to the forum so that you are alerted by email every time a member posts a new thread there with a price request.
