2013 6MT Vert!
Pix (Finally)
Sorry for the Pic quality, I will post some better ones. Taken with my new Galaxy 3 phone hope it's the user and not the camera!
Anyway, loving the ride!!! Taking her into the dealer to get the sport exhaust upgrade either Monday or Tuesday. The dealer is doing the upgrade for free since the car took 6 months to get!

She's a beauty!
You are gonna love the sport exhaust - especially with the top down and aggressive right foot!
Looks like another redesign of the front seat belt holder. Can you post another pic of that area when you have a sec.
Thanks!

As you may know, the seat belt retaining strap has been problematic because it did not allow for free and easy movement of the seatbelt to properly retract after use. This has typically resulted in damaged door cards when the seatbelt would get caught between the side bolster and the door when not fully retracted.
Several owners, including myself have had damaged door inserts replaced (under warranty) due to this design flaw and Infiniti has replaced the seatbelt mechanisms to provide more retraction tension so that the seatbelt woul dbe pulled back more effectively after use.
Based on your photos, it appears that Infiniti has redesigned seat belt retaining strap for the 2nd time (likely to address this issue).
1st Generation (my 2009 Vert) has a single solid strap from under the headrest and a single snap on the shoulder.
2nd Generation included a single solid strap from under the headrest but 2 snaps on the shoulder.
3rd Generation (2013) now has a snap on the strap from under the headrest and a single snap on the shoulder.
Based on the photos, it already looks like your belt is getting snarled up in the retaining strap a bit - after use, always make sure the belt retracts fully before closing the door to help preserve the door card form being damaged.
Thanks again for the photos & drive safely!
