some mother ****er keyed my car . all the way down to metal sheet.
since the car is black, the keyed part is visible from the distance..
do i need to repaint ? how much would it cost

 

that's sad! sorry! you'll definitely need to repaint. price depends on which part of the car needs to be repainted. just go thru insurance.

My BO G35 got keyed.

My insurance covered it. I think the cost was about $1600 for 3 panels and to blend the bumpers IIRC.

just call your insurance co. Be sure to also make a DIV claim. becasue once the car is repainted it will bring down the value a little.

 

Dame that **** sucks. First, go find who did it, key his face up, second, call insurance and pay deductible, third, car will look like new and you'll be happy. Usually wouldn't resort to violence, but I know how it feels. I had my car egged a month after I bought it, the egg ate up the clear of the paint and now I have a pretty big stain on my hood. My neighbor has security cameras so I was able to get the license plate number on the car who stopped right in front of my house. Can't say what happened after that.

 

damages are on the driver side front fender and hood.

True. This is normally your second biggest purchase next to owning a home. in addition there is a lot of attention necessary to keep it maintained. A lot goes into propper ownership of anything but especially a car and a home- leave those alone.

You ain't kidding. I get agitated just by the idiots where I work that can't park properly in the wide spaces we have and come too close to my car.

 

I have NOT had my G keyed, I take the right precautions. I do know of a member \/ that's more likely than others to get her G keyed though.
