hey unv, it's a little late now, but did you ever consider putting black overlays on the amber and reinstalling them instead of just removing them?

never too late. I can open them up no problem. Black no, but as stated before i am having a local shop fab me up two clear version's. one just a clear lense and another the clear reflective type like the oem...

no sir not on ip white. If i had a black no doubt. but on ip white i really like the chrome look which is why i wont do the gtr headlight covers just the tails

lol really bad, you can melt the housing, you can burn grill marks into the plastic. you can melt a tab. there are a lot of things you can do wrong. But what are your chances of doing this? well if you are slow and take your time you should not have any problems. If your really worried i will sit on the phone with you while you are baking them and taking them apart and help you out. kinda like holding your hand for your first day of kindergarden
