My G37xS in the Snow

So glad I now have the AWD instead of the RWD I had previously.

Nice! Your Red X looks great on the snow. I just put snow tires on my x this week. What did you do to lower your car?

Thanks! I wish I had snow tires on mine. I'm running on all season tires. They're not the best but still manageable. Snow tires on an AWD car would be the best to go through a snowy season like the one this year.

I lowered my car with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. I also have SPC front and rear camber kits, and H&R 20mm spacers all around.

Look'n good!

Do you have any pictures of it clean and dry? I've got the same color/rims and want to get ideas for refinishing my wheels... what did you use for your rims and grill?

Thanks!

Here's how it looks clean and dry, although with a different color for the rims.

https://www.myg37.com/forums/picture...l-foliage.html

I had the grille painted by a body shop. The black rims were rattle canned with VHT wheel paint. They lasted through the last winter only. But then it was one of the worst winters we've had in recent memory. I then got them sandblasted and powder coated blue later this summer. They're my dedicated winter rims now. Let's see how long these powder coated wheels are gonna hold up.

We may be getting some real snow for this season on Sat. Nice car! White will be the color of my next car. I also had a white G37 before ('08).

Nice pics. I don't have any of my G in the snow but... I did pick up a very slightly used set of Michelin Ice-Xs on CL for $300. I also picked up TPMS sensors on Amazon for $29 each. We've had a very mild winter so far and the driveway is getting in bad shape so I've tried to refrain from plowing as it's hard on the driveway. 300', all uphill. So far... the G has had no issues going up and down. The traction light doesn't even come on... The only bad thing about the deal was the dealer charging $115 to pair the new sensors with the car. Ridiculous. Won't do that again.
