LoJack Warning

LoJack Warning
Just a heads up for Lojack owners on 5 + year old cars.
With dead battery issues they can't diagnose.
That was my issue.
The internal Lojack battery dies, your car now has the task of keeping it active.
If you don't drive for 2 weeks, the battery dies.
Lojack can't replace the battery, I have to buy a new Lojack.
I even paid these people $99 a year or so ago, for them to tell me the battery is still good.
Ask a hybrid owner, Lojack had to design a new style to not draw down their batteries.
Thats an indication they know there's an issue.
So when you buy a Lojack, its only good for 5 years or so, what a joke.
Now I read Lojack has a battery recall, and will only replace the units under warranty.
Is that a recall???
