Paddle Shifter Kit

Good evening all, I am in need of your collective wisdom. I have a 2010 G37X and have always wanted paddle shifters, but winced at the prices for the graphite set. I just found, on Ebay, the shroud trim sets for the shifters in graphite and beige for $79.00. What I need to know is if the actual paddles plus the shroud is all I need for the conversion. I am aware of the small screws and bolts needed, the sizes of which are listed in a previous post. If this is all that is required, I hope that others will take advantage of this opportunity. I am just trying to give back to the site and members that have done so much for me and my G.

Shroud and shifters are all you need however you need to remove your old shroud to make sure the harness is present for the paddles

I have navigation, backup camera, electronic tilt/telescopic steering column and music box so I should be good to go according to previous threads.

Please update if you go this route. I've been looking at those two items also and would love to know what you think of their quality when you get them. Good luck!

I did this to my 2010 G37x in about 2013. It had the sunroof and NAV and all that stuff. It's already wired for it. Very easy to install. Just plug and play. Good luck!

I got the shroud delivered, just trying to make a decision on the paddles. A yard down in Florida says they would part with a set of paddles for $125, I am just waiting for some detailed pix from them so that I can confirm that the paddles are pristine before I pull the trigger.

How does the shroud look? Is it really OEM or the same quality?

The shroud is OEM from a dealer, looks good now, but will look much better once installed with the paddles.

Paddle shifts kit sale

Does anyone know where I can buy a paddle shift kit for an 09 Sedan for under $400? Or is the one on Amazon the only one?

So I got the paddle shifters delivered on Wednesday with a used set of Akebono calipers shipped to my door from Florida for $600. I had to pull the trigger because they gave me a package deal with the shifters. Although it was 18 degrees out on Saturday, I grabbed my tablet and some tools and went out and installed the paddle shifter kit. I used a combination of YouTube DIY's, and information off the Forum to get it done and it took about an hour. I am very pleased with the end result, it totally looks factory installed and they are fun to drive with. There is a much quicker response from the tranny, and the exhaust note is very impressive going through the gears. This is a new toy that I am going to have a lot of fun with, thanks to all of you on the Forum that gave me the courage to go for it!!!!

I bought my paddles on eBay, and the steering wheel column shroud from the dealer. Paddles were 120, shroud was 120.
