2010 G37xS - New buyer
Hello All..
I'm new to this forum, that I have been reading and surfing it for a while now as I am a G enthusiast and planning to get my first G(37x) so soon. Hopefully!
I want to take your opinion regarding a one 2010 G37xS sedan that I'm keen on, but I've found a "miscellaneous" claim dated back to 2013 of $4500 CAD (Canadian..eh!).
I cannot know for sure what this misc could be, and I could not estimate what could be covered by those $4500 CAD.
Other than that, the car seems good.
Asking price $16000 CAD (will try to negotiate this to $15k ~ $15.5k CAD)
Mileage: 113k km (about 70k miles)
I know there are many experts around here who can give a proper advice about this one.
Here are few of pics for the car..
Thanks!

However, that rear spoiler is off the 2007 - 2008 G35 Sedan, so it's possible the miscellaneous claim was the car getting rear-ended.

$4500 would have to be way more than just getting rear ended, unless it was REALLY bad.
Open the hood, trunk. Check for paint lines.
Look for the VIN stickers. They don't put them back on when they replace bumpers or repaint. If it's not there you know that part was replaced.

If the claim is nothing serious then 15.5 is a pretty good deal.
I got a black 2010 g37xs with 125kms for 17.5 CAD with no accidents/claims.
If you plan on negotiating 500 bucks off the sale price then go get it inspected at Infiniti. That is what I did before purchasing my vehicle even tho the carproof was mint.
that being said, negotiate the sale price first and let them know that the offer is contingent of a good inspection report by Infiniti. If inspection is good then you buy at agreed price, if inspection is bad then you negotiate further or kibosh the plan.
and get it in writing.

I also just bought my 2010 G37X sedan with 112500 kms but for only $10100 CAD.
Mind you there is 700$ of paint to do (dent and large scratch) and a control arm to change but other than that its mint and it is not an S.
I feel you can maybe find a better deal but then again its still a good price.

Thank you all for your replies.
In some way I found out that the car was offloaded from Infiniti dealership and it has been in a collision back in 2014 damaging the right front side. Insurance claim for that hit was about $11k CAD.
Needless to say, I am not after that one.
Hopefully I will get my G soon.
Search is on..!
Cheers
