I'll find out Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks ken, sucks it's going to be there longer, but It's great they wanna make sure it's fixed 100% before they give it back.

I Only got to drive it home and back to the dealership, but it was fun to drive.

Well back with a update, Just got off the phone with the service department at the dealership. They replaced the back right wheel bearing and it still has the noise, so far they did the front left wheel bearing changed out the tires thinking that's what was making the noise zzzzzzzzz , there is no way tires made this very loud noise, it was like the car was running at very high rpm's.

So now they are going to do a alignment, he said it doesn't make the noise when up in the air, only under load.

I still think it's something to do with the drive shaft, when I turned the back wheel while on jacks you could hear the drive shaft.

I'm not sure what to do now, buy a car and you can't even drive it. It's going on 2 weeks now, and they have no idea what's wrong.

I'll be back when I have a update lol

No good news yet, last time I talked the the dealership they gave us a new Honda as a loaner, and said they had 3 tech's working on it. After replacing I think all wheel bearing changing tires and alignment and a few other things, they are now taking it to a specialist they said.

12 days in the shop so far.

Just got off the phone with them, it's been 4 days since I called last. They said they are waiting on another wheel bearing, but they told me that on Tuesday.

Now their saying next Tuesday, every time I call they tell me couple more days zzzzzzz. So I guess it takes 14 days to change 3 wheel bearings and do a alignment. I live in Salem Oregon, good size city not in the woods, so getting parts is always a day away.

Damn, sounds like a horrible place, hopefully they won't do more damage than good. Best of luck. If I were you, once they're done with everything I'd take it a different shop or a dealership and have them take an overall look at the car.

I asked them about that Blnewt, and they said they checked it.

I did get the car back last night after 14 days to change 3 wheel bearings, the noise is gone. I'll take some pic's and post them, It needs bigger rims and better tires for sure.

The ones that are on it now are like balloon tires/donuts lol and since it's a G37x base model, it only has 17" wheels.

Glad to hear (or should I say NOT hear, lol) that issue is resolved (hopefully).
Shoot me a PM if you want some ideas for wheel sets.

I am a little bit late to the party, but on the G35 or G37 you will usually not have ANY play at all even if the bearing is bad..

My front bearing on the G35 was almost completely shut and there was absolutely NO play at all. It's not just bearing like some other cars, it's actually a complete hub assembly and like I said early you will usually have no play even with bad bearings.

I'm not a ASE certified mechanic, but I always do my own repairs. I've replaced wheel bearings before and usually you can check for play with the wheel in the air. I checked all 4 wheels on this car for any play, they were all solid . You would think if a wheel bearing was that bad off making that much noise it would have some play in it.

It was loud like like the car was running at really high rpm's, I will post back if they did indeed fix it.
