nice looking set. although AFAIK those Kumho's are all seasons, not winters or all weather. big difference between A/S and a true winter compound or even the all weather treads. just something to keep in mind.

But if you have winter wheels, then it only makes sense to wrap them in snow tires. I don't get it.

Snows on an AWD sedan would be unstoppable.

My duckfeet are my winter rims now, wrapped in Bridgestone Blizaks. IMO, snows are a must have in the Northeast, regardless of the number of drive wheels, front or back.

This^

What's the point of having winter wheels without winter tires?

Although I guess it makes sense if you got rid of your previous OEM wheels for aftermarket...

I had those Khumos on my G last winter and they did alright, but as the rears started wearing down they got worse and worse. I would to recommend getting winter tires.

Definitely get a set of winter tyres. My favourite is the Nokian Hakkapelliita R2. They are one of the best winter tyres available.

Yes absolutely you should get a set of winter tires. The G is unstoppable then!

My current set of iffy Goodyears is wearing out...hoping to find a set of Blizzaks or X-Ice tires before fall comes.

I bought a set of WinterClaw Extreme Grip WMX last winter because the all season sucks on snow and most people kept saying winter tire is for snow and summer is for summer and the best is your tires will last longer

Do you really drive on snow all that much inside 95 in Boston? I know it snows there...I have been there in the winter, but its pretty much plowed as quickly as it falls except for a bad storm where everyone just stays home anyway.

Not without spacers. Let me know if you're looking for a set, I have a staggered set of the same wheels with tires and a set of 20mm spacers I'll happily let go at a good price.
