Getting mine installed in a couple hours. You do need to drill into your trunk with these FYI.

Yeah you need to drill into the trunk with these spoilers. I brought it to a local body shop to get done.

How's the fitment? Any closer shots? Your car is motivation for me to buy springs and a rear spoiler. Link to where you bought it?

It's oem so fitment is spot on.

Ordered Graphite Shadow spoiler and it came within a week. Installed this past weekend and the fitment is spot on. Paint was matched perfectly. All hardware fit perfectly and needed no modification other than some manual alignment to make sure back-up cam and trunk release buttons were sitting nice and flush.

When installing (for you DIY'ers) it would be wise to place a small washer under each side of the trunk release button bracket, just to have the button extend out a little. Just my preference, as I didn't like how it was recessed without the washers.

As some DIYs have noted, there is no need to drill extra holes to the side of the trunk (outside of the area that would be covered by the original chrome trim piece). the screws and double sided tape are more than enough to hold the piece down snug. It's not going ANYWHERE.

Definitely happy with the piece and the quality.

You sure you don't need to drill any additional holes than the pre-existing drilled ones from the chrome piece? I thought I read somewhere else that if you didn't that the double side tape starts to peel at the ends

There are 3 that needs to be drilled located under the original trim piece. What I meant is that there is no hole on the trunk that would make this swap an irreversible process. Sorry for the confusing description.

The contact on the spoiler surface is pretty tight (at least for mine), and this is without exerting much pressure to make contact with the tape and trunk surface. Unless the spoiler begins to warp significantly, I don't see peeling as a problem anytime soon.

Just bought the last one of the black spoilers for the listings this time around. I should get it by Wednesday, and I'll try to get it installed sometime next week. I emailed the seller to let him know that he had the part number correct but the paint code and the name of the paint was incorrect, and I also asked him to email me if he ever gets any of the sport DRLs in stock.

I'm a new 2013 G owner. Hated the look of the chrome, so I bought the spoiler from this lady (she's extremely nice!) Got it last week and installed this weekend!

Only drilled 3 holes in the middle. Cut the clips and used double stick tape for the outer ends. Works great!

a couple DIYs that helped me:

I bought this spoiler on Monday and it arrived today. Will try to get to it this weekend, if not next weekend it will be mounted and will provide pictures.
