Granted, the price is high, but those bronze RAYS are looking more and more like the top dog, in my book.

Rochester,

I don't think you could go wrong with any of these choices. I also don't see a big difference in the work logo versus the rays in terms of how noticeable it is. For some reason I am leaning toward a plain silver as my favorite here, with that bronze a close second. Unless of course are your Akebono's a custom color, or do you plan on changing them to another color soon? That may change your mind about the lug nut color.

Those wheels are going to look great on your car, can't wait to see some pics when they are installed.

I should take a picture with these little closed-end button nuts that Need4Speed sent me, for perspective. Hang on.

The Akebono calipers are in OEM silver, with INFINITI lettering. That hasn't change yet. And if it does, it probably won't for a number of years down the road. Of course, I say that now. Priorities are always open to realignment.

Here's a profile of the car: (edit) before the drop. Yikes!

And here's a look of the wheels with those little chrome lug nuts that shipped with them. I think they look blah.

Thanks Rochester for putting this thread together! I literally was checking for lugs last night and was completely lost.

I'm picking up my Vossen wheels next week. Not CVT's but they'll look great on your G!

Think I'm definitely leaning towards Muteki's for bang for buck. Not too expensive, but not too cheap? Haven't decided on color though.

You are welcome, ninjitsui1! I agree, the Muteki are a good value.

One of the things you're probably finding as you research lug nuts, is that when using aluminum nuts, apply and remove by hand with a torque wrench. No impact guns. That means riding herd on shops and mechanics who need to remove a wheel.

Here's a lug-nut guide from a 370 forum. Not a bad read: Lug Nuts - The definitive guide - Nissan 370Z Forum

And a picture thread of lug nuts: Lug Nuts Picture Thread - Nissan 370Z Forum

That is a nice thread for lug nuts...thanks for posting that.

Definitely digging the RAYS and Muteki's the most based on the photos posted on this thread. I'm also partial to nice bronze/brown looking car parts. Not sure why, just am.

Here's another good photo of the RAYS medium length (42mm) closed-end lug nuts:

Are our g37's also 12x1.25 in lug nut size? I just slapped on the lug nuts that came with my rohana's as well. Been looking to upgrade but been procrastinating.

AFAIK, yes. That's the standard NISSAN spec. Have to look up what it means, though. I think 12 is the bolt diameter in millimeters, and 1.25 is the thread pitch (distance between thread grooves, also in millimeters). IDK... someone knows.

I just picked up a set of the Blue Work Lug Nuts for my Work wheels so I'll be selling my Project Kics R26 NeoChrome ones here in a couple of days. You can't go wrong with any of those lug nuts!
