pdp, doesn't apply to me, was one of the more annoying clutches I've driven. But if you like it, more power to you.
Mik3, depending on your dealer, it might be a risk if anything goes wrong with the clutch actuation system. I kept my old pedal assembly, I can reinstall it in an hour or two.

Wish someone at the meet had the RJM pedal and a STS. Really, really do.

^ yeah, i would love to find someone local to me with the RJM pedal. i'm trying to decide if i want to pull the trigger on one in the classifieds right now.
to be honest, i do not mind my clutch actuation. i installed the revised spring from Jsolo as well. although my gearbox makes all kinds of odd noises (another story) i have no problem starting in 1st smoothly, or up-shifting through the gears. so i want to be sure that i will actually appreciate the RJM kit before i spend the money and a few hours murdering my back and rib cage. if i was lurching and bucking like a newbie i would jump at it, but that's not the case. so many guys rave about how the RJM pedal is a must for 6MT drivers which is why i keep mulling it over.

Haha great. I appreciate the offer. Guess it works both ways since you'll drive mine to experience the Ark setup. =]

Or maybe I'll go totally in the opposite direction and get a Cayman S, as one last fling before I give up and buy a Lincoln. (Just kidding... I meant, a Tesla.)

I've pretty much felt the same way most of my adult life. However, I turned 50 this year, and to be honest... I could see giving up the 6MT sometime over the next decade.

Sadly, manual cars are disappearing from the market.
I'm really struggling with what to do in a little over a year when my lease is up. A S4 or 335i would be nice, but having to deal with the inconvenience of getting to the dealerships for the inevitable German car maintenance and reliability issues is a real turn off for me. A CTS-V is certainly an option, but it's almost too much for a daily driver, and my inner cheapskate hates the financial hit it would make.

Lego,
I test drove a used '11 CTS-V when I was car shopping last summer. Blindingly fast and handles, too ... but not 'nimble' and I didn't think it had the same fun-to-drive quotient as a full sport 335 or 6MT G. Plus more money. The new CTS V-Sport with the turbo V-6 is lighter and more nimble ... now if they would just put a manual in it.

Have you seen otherwise?
Got the roof spoiler on ebay from "happybuyitnow". I purchased his spoilers from my last three cars and they've all been excellent quality. $80 painted and shipped.

Just picked up a 2009 g37 s 6mt. (43k) and must say I love driving this car. In ontario, so hoping with good winter tires, it will be ok in winter. But who cares, right now this car handles so well and has such power that I am looking for excuses to drive it. Finally understand the advantages of driving a rwd

Emper,
The 6MT has a VLSD rear end and it does well in snow even with good A/S tires. I think it would be excellent with true winter tires. The Infiniti dealer in California put W- rated Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3's on mine when they CPO'd it. We get some pretty deep snows here so I was originally planning on getting winter wheels and Blizzaks, but after driving it in snow I decided it was okay with the A/S. Made it through the winter with no problem. Note that I am not recommending this if you get a lot of deep snow. Then it would certainly be worth getting winter tires. Also if conditions are really bad I can always borrow my wife's SUV. Didn't need to this last winter.
