What is a good a G37 replacement?

I love my coupe. And I'm not selling it. My transmission has always been a money pit. Just recently replaced it at 117k miles, input shaft bearing went . Broke everything. Before that I went through slave cylinders. Couple kits. Not from driving hard. Just not knowing what was wrong. Anyways. I'm just putting a new flywheel in from when my input shaft bearing went. And I got a new transmission and never did the flywheel. But I've spent so much money in this car just fixing it..My dad always wants me to sell it. I LOVE THE CAR TOO MUCH.
what would be better than a g37 coupe...Manual. 19-30k in price.

don't know what your requirements are - 2 door/4 door, AWD?, etc.

previous car was an Evo X, and it was great. i didn't go nuts with power mods - just a stage 1 flash, and it was PLENTY fast, and reliable as a daily driver for 6 years.

This is my biggest fear - manufacturer's are getting slim to none for a manual car. Therefore, Infiniti will probably be out the question. I am even going as far as considering auto....

As much as I hate to suggest this, German may be our only next option. And of course a GT-R! BUTTTTT.....if you can swallow the pill of not having a manual anymore, the whole world opens up.

^This. Especially now before Trump starts posing import taxes like he's claiming to on the German brands. The M2 is a fantastic car for the price, and as long as you ditch it when the warranty is up you shouldn't have a single issue with the car.

Couldn't agree more. Without manual limiting the possibilities, the world is your oyster when picking your next car, and it can keep OP in the Infiniti family.

The challenge here is that the OP mentioned between 19K and 30K in price. To me that limits the number of cars to find that are as good as the G overall. As most cars in this class will be nearing or beyond the end of their warranty. If you are concerned about constant repairs, then the German brands might be a risky option at that price point- perhaps you'll find a CPO for a good deal however.

But I think you can find a Mustang GT, Camaro SS right at 30k that's certified. Otherwise a previous generation C coupe, or a previous generation A5.. But you will lose performance compared to the G in those. A BMW 428 that is a couple of years old could be an option- but again you will lose some performance.

if you really like the G you can get a newer one that is under CPO warranty pretty easy for that price. Maybe a 2015 S if you negotiate well
